Hi, I messaged you re the Durban the other day. I would be so grateful for your help on one thing? I have traced the pattern pieces, all ready to go but…think having a confused moment! On the hem line of pant pattern it gives you Regular and Tall options for hemline. I want regular but can,t see how you add the shape of the turn up bit that is on the tall edge only.. It’s so difficult to explain here but stuck on it!

I have a pair of dressmaker Gingher shears, 8 inch, "Cheetah" handles with safety guard in like new condition. Stamped "Chrome Italy", engraved "Gingher". Anyone have a suggestion where to offer them? Thank you.

I’m just at 5 mos, I’m 55 so about your age, but my husband died suddenly and left me with several adult kids and a 5yo we adopted. I feel you. I’m sorry you are spending evenings alone-having to care for my little one is overwhelming but has saved me. Hang on, I have to think it will get better

Not to take away from the lovely jacket you’ve made but I envision this as an easy to make house coat…and yes, pockets would be a must

This is a lovely design, I really like A line shape in dresses and almost an Empire line look, so flattering! I love the rustic look and the fabric too, babycord is one of my favourite fabrics, reminiscent of the beautiful vintage Laura Ashley dresses from a byegone era :) Do you have this pattern for sale?

My husband of 51 years died in July of 2023 and I know how you feel. It’s so hard isn’t it. I too am finding it hard to get on with life. Your words described exactly how I have been feeling. I wish you the best and hope we both find comfort in the daily things we do like sewing. Thank goodness we have these hobbies to do. I sew clothing and make quilts. Thank you for posting.

Omg my parents have that exact same carpet in their bathroom! 😮 they still have a lot of the 70s carpets as it was such good quality, just hideous 🤣
